Nicole
Witt - Music is in Nicole's blood, literally. Nicole's
grandfather was a fiddle player, her grandmother played the piano,
her uncle played the banjo and her father was a square dancer
on the famed Ozark K Jubilee TV show.
As for Nicole, she was a four-year All-State violinist
and Missouri's State representative to the National High School Orchestra
performing at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. Nicole went on
to earn her music degree from the University of Missouri.
Nicole combines the sharpest of lyrical power with
an electric stage performance as she ignites the crowd with her mastery
of the violin, fiddle and piano. Nicole has had her songs recorded
by Diamond Rio, Rodney Atkins, Clay Walker, Terri Clark and George
Strait. She is now poised to explode onto the National scene as the
artist that she was born to become!
Nicole sang a song called "Rusty" written by a friend
of hers, Pete Sternberg, for the Will Smith movie
7 Pounds.
She was also at Blackberry farms this past weekend
writing with Lee Brice, Bombshell (both curb artists) and Ash Bower
(Broken Bow) this past weekend. (02/08/09)
On the same weekend, at the GRAMMY awards, George
Strait won album of the year. Nicole wrote a song on his record "Troubadour" called "Brothers
of the Highway".
